This month I participated in the bookmark exchange sponsored by the Collecting Bookmarks group from Yahoo. This was my first exchange, so I didn’t know exactly what to expect. I signed up to exchange two sets of five free bookmarks and one handmade bookmark. Natalia from the group takes the names of everyone who signed up and randomly assigns who sends bookmarks to whom. I received a nice email with the list of names I would send to (2 people who would each receive a set of 5 different, free bookmarks and one person who would receive the bookmark I handmade).
To the right is a picture of the handmade bookmark I received from Angelina (in Portugal). The names are some of her favorite Portugese authors. It’s made from thin foam and is a great size and shape. This is my first Portugese bookmark and I love it.
I’ve also received a set of 5 bookmarks from Belgium, which are very fun. I think this exchange is great and I look forward to participating in it again in the future.
