I just wanted to mention why I’ve been gone for awhile. Last Tuesday morning (3:00 am) we had a very odd power surge (it involves a slow growing palm tree and an odd sequence of events). That resulted in all of our computers blowing out, along with a variety of electronic devices. It’s odd how dependent we’ve become on these things.

We were able to get back on-line fairly quickly, but the contents of our computers were not available for days. My partner Harriet’s business is dependent on her computer, so that took priority. I was just able to get my computer back functioning last night. Luckily it just needed a new power supply.

So, I’m going to try and post several items that have been accumulating. I’ll be leaving on vacation in two days, but that’s another post.
