Bookmarks for Sale Roundup No. 1

September 10th, 2007 · 1 Comment

Here’s another collection of links that I’ve come across recently. The focus of this set is bookmarks that are for sale. There are promotional bookmarks, wedding reception gifts, handmade/art bookmarks, and others that are just cool.

Cause Awareness

Cause Awareness BookmarksGimmes.com (an internet based promotional materials supplier) has a new bookmark available which they are targeting to non-profit agencies. These are inexpensive bookmarks and are available as a promotional tool for an agency to use in marketing their cause.

Wedding Receptions

Wedding Reception BookmarkHere is a set of bookmarks produced for use as wedding favors. MyWeddingReceptionIdeas.com has a set of 17 different designs on their bookmark page, and all of them are quite nice.

If you know of a wedding coming up, these are lovely and inexpensive items to provide as wedding favors.

Handmade Bookmarks on Etsy

Goose Neck Ale BookmarkbookmarkKathyysKraft is selling these handmade bookmarks over on Etsy. They’re both paper craft-the one on the right is made from a recycled Goose Island Ale carton, and the ones on the left are made from a recycled, decorative Kleenex box.

Story Behind The Bookmark

The Story Behind The BookmarkThese are clever bookmarks that seem to tell their own little story. They’re simple little sculptures, but seeing them hang over the edge of a book just seems to invite imagining an event that led them into those positions. Just how did that mermaid get into that book? Why is that ladder there? They’re more than a pretty decoration.

Made by Greener Grass Design, a Houston based design studio, they’re a little pricey (currently $15 each). You can order them online.

Booksling

BookslingAn interesting product, the Booksling combines a penholder and a bookmark into an elastic band that wraps around the cover of a hardback book or a block of pages in a paperback book. It looks pretty convenient for any sort of book you’d want to write in, such as a journal, notebook, or autograph book. But I can also see it holding a highlighter for use in textbooks or reference books.
