Bookmark Collector

Once again, the Centre for Fine Print Research at the University of the West of England (UWE), Bristol is sponsoring their Bookmarks exhibition. This year it’s Bookmarks V. I posted about last year’s project and I’ll shamefully admit that I never got out to see any of the exhibit sites. This year I’m definitely getting to one.

The goal of the exhibit is to promote “artists who work in the book format”. This year, 45 artists each contributed an edition of 100 bookmarks for free distribution. These 4500 bookmarks are divided into sets and then sent to a wide range of venues for free distribution.

The bookmarks will be available from September 20, 2007 through February 20, 2008. The complete list of venues can be found at:
