Over at BiblioBuffet, I had the novel experience of being interviewed by Lauren. It was a great interview and her questions led me to some interesting introspection as well as given me ideas for several new posts.
She’s had a good response from her readers, and that’s led me to wonder if there are some interests out there which aren’t being met by the current selection of bookmark websites and blogs. There are some forums, but they seem to concentrate on bookmark exchanges. There are several blogs that are focused on individual collections. What interests aren’t being addressed? What would you like to see more of?
I’d like to hear from more collectors, so add a comment at the end of this message with your thoughts about what you’d like to see added to the online bookmark community.

Alan, I loved your interview on Bibliobuffet. I’m glad you are posting articles and other miscellaneous info about bookmarks. My bibliography has 1470 items in it now, but I haven’t figured out a way to get it on a web site. An idea for collaboration is to document bookmarks in series or by the same manufacturer. I’ve tried to do this by saving info I see on eBay (even when I don’t win), but seems like it might grow faster if available somewhere for others to add to. Some possible series: Whitehead and Hoag (celluloid), Old Reliable Coffee, Mennens, Tiffany. Keep up the good work!

Hi Nuria,
Thanks for stopping by and visiting the site. I enjoy the images on your site, and so far my favorite is from your post “Reading on the Tube”!

Thanks for stopping by Laine!
I’ve always enjoyed your articles over at Bibliobuffet so I’m particularly happy to get your suggestion.
The idea of collaborating on documenting series is great! Especially the older - non-paper series. Let’s explore how that can happen.
Alan
