Well, it’s been a couple of weeks and there are quite a few posts around the net to catch up on. So here we go.
SIXBUCKSADONKEY
A Reading Endorsement
Over at Sixbucksadonkey there have been several Bookmark Friday entries.
This pair of bookmarks was produced to encourage reading and used the images of the actors from two popular TV shows: Hercules and Xena.
Egyptian God
The next entry is this one featuring Egyptian hieroglyphics. There’s not much information about this one in his post. Still, it’s a fine looking bookmark.
Punt Per Punt
Mans a les Mans
At Punt per Punt, the theme is “Handclasp”. Eighteen bookmarks make up the set, each showing a hand grasping something.
Once again, a beautiful set of images.
Cultura Tradicional I Popular Catalana
This set of bookmarks focuses on traditional and popular Catalan culture. I’m not familiar with the references, but it’s a fascinating set of images.
There are 29 bookmarks in this display.
Thanks to Sarah
The title of this entry is intersting. There are 9 bookmarks in this set.
Thanks Genevieve
Another interesting title to her post (I assume these are gifted bookmarks). There are three more puzzle sets of bookmarks in this entry.
Inside Books
Here are the latest two entries in Simon Quicke’s Bookmark of the Week series.
Th one on the left is the third of a set he bought in Switzerland and features the Swiss flag.
On the right is a magnetic clip style of bookmark. He says that it’s based on the Greenwich Maritime colors.
Punto de Papel
Four Writers
Maria Rosa has posted quite a few sets of bookmarks on her blog Punto De Papel.
This set of bookmarks each honor four writers: Jane Austin, William Shakespeare, Lord Byron, and Emily Bronte.
Animales
Another posting at Punto de Papel, this time a set of beautiful animal themed bookmarks by the artist Charlotte Nicolin. Seeing the whole set together is amazing.
Puzzle
I’ve mentioned before how much a like these bookmark sets that fit together to make a picture. Maria Rosa has this one made from a still image out of Gone With The Wind.
Paper or Magnetic
Another set of bookmarks, but it looks like there are two sets of the same images. From the title of the post, I’m assuming that one set of images are of paper bookmarks, and the others are magnets with the same images.
All the images are Picasso paintings and are beautiful.
Two Puzzles
Here are two more of the fabulous puzzle bookmark sets. One is made from this graphic image and the other is a photo.

Paper or Magnetic:

None of the pictures in the linked site is a Picasso, of course; the one on your post is, e.g. , a Modigliani.

Oh good heavens, you are right and I completely screwed up the translation. Thank you for the correction! The exhibition is about paintings during the century of Picasso, not by Picasso. I apologize to Maria Rosa, Dr. Iccapot and all my native Spanish speaking readers for my poor Spanish skills and will rely more heavily on Babelfish in the future.

It’s ok, Alan! I have trouble with other languages as well (my daughter’s actually helping me write this). If you need any assistance with your Spanish in the future, feel free to email me/leave a message on my journal.
