I’m back in town and catching up, so I thought I’d start with a small post focusing on some recent links about making bookmarks.
Wedding Favors
A nice little article about bookmarks as wedding favors. It discusses design elements important in wedding favors as well as some production methods. Useful if you happen to have a wedding you’re planning.
Stamp Simply Bookmark
At No Time To Stamp, a blog for folks who use stamps in their crafting, Sharon Johnson has a project for making a bookmark along with it’s own sleeve. The sample that she produced looks very elegant. She used stamps and ribbon and she’s quite insistent that it’s a simple project.
Spoon Bookmark
Instructables has a very clever project to make a clip style bookmark from a spoon. The folded over spoon creates a clip for the cover of a book, and a ribbon attached to the shaft serves as the marker. I’m going to try this with one of the many spoons I’ve picked up at yard sales over the years.
