I’m sorry for the delay in posting this week’s set of bookmark related links. Work related traveling kept me away, and I’ve only just caught up. So here are the links that I’ve found, from March 28 through April 3.
Also, this week I was lucky enough to have several readers send me links, either to [...]

Handcrafted Bookmarks: Etsy and Art Fire
February 12th, 2009 · No Comments
I enjoy handcrafted bookmarks. I generally buy them at craft and art fairs directly from the artist. However, in the course of assembling my Bookmark Bookmarks posts, I see a lot of handcrafted bookmarks for sale at online sites like Etsy and Art Fire. Both are marketplaces that provide a convenient site for artists to [...]

I’m interested in finding out what names we are all using out there (or names that we’re avoiding). I recently had the pleasure of asking a couple of [...]

This is the first entry in my new link roundup format. Since I’m playing catchup, it’s a big one! In the future I’ll update weekly.
I’ve included a few more sources in my search for links, and I’ve organized them under some new headings.
If you have anything you’d like me to include in future entries, or [...]

Intralibris: Things Found Within Books
December 5th, 2006 · 1 Comment
I received a comment on one of my posts from cdavid, the owner of the Intralibris blog. Following his link, I was treated to a delighful series of images of items from his collection. They are all things that he’s found in books. Presumably, they were all used as bookmarks. They’re a pretty [...]
BiblioBuffet, On Marking Books

Wow, I just came across a great website called BiblioBuffet. They’re tagline is “Writing Worth Reading – Reading Worth Writing About”. They are a site of book reviews and commentaries as well as discussions on other topics of interest to bibliophiles, including bookmark collectors!
They have a column on collecting bookmarks, called On Marking Books. I’ve [...]

I recently joined the Yahoo group Collecting Bookmarks. The group has been around since 2004, and currently consists of 89 members out of which 12 signed up for the last bookmark exchange. The membership is an internationally diverse set of collectors with at least one representative from all 6 populated continents. From my ‘Hello’ message, [...]
