Bookmark Collector

Here’s another collection of links that I’ve come across recently. The focus of this set is bookmarks that are for sale. There are promotional bookmarks, wedding reception gifts, handmade/art bookmarks, and others that are just cool.

Natalia from Yahoo’s Collecting Bookmarks group pointed out a Flikr group dedicated to images that can be made into bookmarks. There are (currently) over 300 images in the group: some are striking landscapes; some are posed shots; some are very constructed, artistic shots; some are abstract beyond recognition; and some are drawings.

Sophie from the Collecting Bookmarks group on Yahoo has a del.icio.us page listing sites where you can print your own bookmarks. It’s an amazingly large list that she’s collected with (currently) 112 sites! The Fabio Sirna site has a lovely set of PDF files that you can print and then cut and fold into a set of envelope-corner style of bookmarks. One set of bookmarks has a saying, another has a set of lines for making notes, and the third has a set of squares, like graph-paper - [...]
