Amanda Crawford Designs
February 20th, 2008 · No Comments
I had the opportunity to meet Amanda Crawford and acquire a couple of her beautiful bookmarks. She had a booth at the Santa Barbara Book and Author Festival in September 2007, and her complete line of products (as well as some under development) were available to see and buy.
All of her products are bookmarks, but [...]

This is the first entry in my new link roundup format. Since I’m playing catchup, it’s a big one! In the future I’ll update weekly.
I’ve included a few more sources in my search for links, and I’ve organized them under some new headings.
If you have anything you’d like me to include in future entries, or [...]

MarÃa Rosa from Spain has started a new blog named Punto de Papel in which she is posting her bookmark collection. BiblioBuffet Interview With Alan Irwin
September 24th, 2007 · 4 Comments
Over at BiblioBuffet, I had the novel experience of being interviewed by Lauren. It was a great interview and her questions led me to some interesting introspection as well as given me ideas for several new posts.
She’s had a good response from her readers, and that’s led me to wonder if there are some interests [...]
Bookmark Fridays
September 9th, 2007 · No Comments
A blogger named Sixbucksadonkey is starting what he (she?) calls Bookmark Friday. The first entry said that every Friday would have a posting displaying a bookmark from his/her collection. However, the second posting was two weeks later.
Not that I would know anything about not keeping up with regular postings.
The two displayed so far are quirky [...]

Caution: Bookmark Web Attacks?
August 24th, 2007 · No Comments
This will be a different type of post, but I feel compelled to write about this as a caution to others who look for bookmark related web-sites.
I have a Google search set up for notices about bookmarks in the news or mentioned in blogs. I probably get a hit once every other day or so [...]
Chilean Bookmark Collector
August 21st, 2007 · No Comments
One of my favorite bookmark related sites to follow is a blog by Olga Sotomayor Sánchez named Coleccionista Chilena de Marcapáginas. She’s a librarian in Chile, and has a large, well organized collection that she puts on display at various fairs and events. She collects and trades internationally, and has been active in Mail Art [...]

They also have a gift shop where you can buy their gorgeous bookmarks. They have etched and engraved [...]
